It’s PLAYTIME! I love getting silly and goofy with my little girl. I will do anything to make her laugh and have a good time, and that includes a ton of doll play. Who knew I can sing like a Disney Princess? I have the hits, “Let It GO” by Elsa”Part of Your World” by Ariel and “Coronation Day” by Anna from Disney’s Frozen. Frozen is a 2013 American 3D computer-animated musical fantasy–comedy film produced by Walt Disney Animation Studios and released by Walt Disney Pictures.[4] It is the 53rd animated feature in the Walt Disney Animated Classics series. Inspired by Hans Christian Andersen’s fairy tale The Snow Queen, the film tells the story of a fearless princess who sets off on an epic journey alongside a rugged iceman, his loyal pet reindeer, and a naive snowman to find her estranged sister, whose icy powers have inadvertently trapped the kingdom in eternal winter. Disney Princess is a media franchise owned by The Walt Disney Company. Created by Disney Consumer Products chairman Andy Mooney in the late 1990s, the franchise features a line-up of fictional female heroines who have appeared in various Disney franchises.

The franchise doesn’t actually include all noted princesses from any Disney media as its name suggests, but only certain members are commonly used, mainly from animated films. The eleven current (2015) members of the franchise are Snow White, Cinderella, Aurora, Ariel, Belle, Jasmine, Pocahontas, Mulan, Tiana, Rapunzel, and Merida.[1][2] The franchise has released dolls, sing-along videos, apparel, home decor, toys and a variety of other products[3] featuring the Disney Princesses.

OUR REVIEW: The Barbie Malibu Mall is an absolute favorite of ours. It does take a good amount of time to assemble and there are alot of pieces here, but the smile it will bring to your child’s face when it is all done is all worth it. It would be nice if the stickers were already on the small pieces in the set. This set is the perfect gift for a child! We rate the Barbie Malibu Mall a 7/10

By 2009, Mattel was up for real competition with Liv and Moxie Girlz. Mattel was up to work on their second fashion inspired line. We need to reconnect Barbie back to her rich fashion roots,” admitted Richard Dickson, senior vice president at Mattel, shortly after he joined the company in 2008. Dickson, tasked with pumping cool style into the 11.5-inch doll, arranged a New York Fashion Week runway show, set up a human-scale Malibu dream house, and opened a six-story Shanghai flagship store. Still, worldwide sales of the Barbie brand declined 3% last year; Dickson left Mattel this past February. Analysts estimate that sales peaked in 2002. Mattel launched a line of Fashionista Barbies, with 12 articulation points.
